Lodge |
Shidzidzi & Nungubane accommodate a total of 20 guests in
intimate elegance. There is a central lounge & dining area,
curio shops, and swimming pool. Each camp overlooks a
waterhole. There
is a dining room and a boma in each camp to take advantage of
both indoor and outdoor culinary experiences. |

Rooms :

There are 4
king size luxury chalets and 6 twin luxury chalets, between the
two camps sleeping a total of 20 persons. Each room has a
private verandah or deck, a luxury bathroom with bath and
shower, an additional outside shower. Extra touches provided
are hairdryers, over head fans and tea & coffee making
facilities. Each room has views over the Waterberg Mountain
range. |

Getting there
: |
1)
Johannesburg International Airport, transfers to and from the
Airport can be arranged on request or you can make your way to
Mabula by following.
2)
Private helicopter and fixed wing charters are available on
request when making the reservation.
3)
By
Road : Take the N1 North from
Johannesburg
towards Polokwane. About 170km from Sandton, leave the N1 at the
Kranskop Toll Plaza, follow the signs for Nylstroom. Go straight
through Nylstroom, following the R33 to Vaalwater (60Km from
Nylstroom) Go straight through Vaalwater. After 26 km, you will
see the main Gate on your left. Continue past the Main Gate for
22km, then turn left at the Schoongelegen sign on to a sand
road.
Welgevonden West Gate is 16.6km along the sand road, on your
left.

What to bring |
October to
March: Summer Clothes. A warm jacket or jersey for the cooler
mornings and evenings. April to September: Winter clothes. A
very warm insulated Jacket for the cold morning and nights.
Hats, scarf and gloves are recommended.
Comfortable walking shoes track shoes or boots are useful for
the bush walks. Sandals are useful for walking around the lodge.
Shorts and t-shirt needed all year round for the warm midday
period.
Swimming costume, sun block, insect repellent, sun hat,
sunglasses and lip balm are recommended. |
