ABOUT LOBENGULA LODGE : Created as a tranquil, luxurious and exclusive retreat, Lobengula lodge is tucked deep in the Shamwari game reserves valley bushveld.   The lodge is thatched and ethnically decorated and with capacity for a maximum of 12 persons offers a safari experience never to be forgotten.   Be seduced and revitalised by the luxury spa treatments available whilst in this incredible African setting.

ACCOMMODATION :  Accommodation at Lobengula lodge consists of five junior suites and one Chief suite.  All rooms are equipped with fantastic en-suite bathrooms and are standard with air-conditioning as well as under-floor heating.  The two lavish junior suites across the small stream in the Excelsior Valley offer a completely private stay and each has its own private plunge pool with views into the African bushveld.   The Chief suite includes a large private lounge with its own fireplace.  Each room has a comfortable lounge and private deck.
 
LODGE FACILITIES :  At Lobengula lodge, lavish meals are served in the open and cater to the most discerning of diners.  Selections of fine South African wines are provided by the well-trained staff.   When not on a game drive or walk, or indulging in spa treatments, guests can relax and swim in the pool and enjoy a drink at the pool bar.  There is a magnificent wooden deck which overlooks the dense bushland and is often the location for meals or storytelling in front of the fireplace.  A small gym and a steambath are available for the health conscious guest.  Lobengula lodge also has a curio shop.

ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE : Activities from Long Lee Manor include morning and evening game drives or walking safaris, accompanied by your personal ranger.  Lions and leopards are frequent sightings.  Shamwari Game Reserve prides itself on the knowledge and professionalism of their rangers.  Treatments at Lobengula lodge spa are varied and exotic and are designed to refresh, purify, polish and pamper in an African setting.  The staff are highly trained professionals and the range includes the most up to date therapies available.
