ABOUT DJUMA BUSH LODGE Bush Lodge is a luxurious family lodge

Sabi Sands Game Reserve and shares a border with the Kruger National
Park. The lodge building of wood and thatch is unique in construction
and is located to offer splendid views of the surrounding African
bushveld. Catering for a maximum of 16 guests, Bush lodge is a home away
from home, where children are always welcome. Djuma offers an
unpretentious, relaxing atmosphere among a ll
the home comforts you would want.
GUEST AREAS The main building has
two decks with magnificent views, a dining room, lounge, library and a
plunge pool. The magnificent swimming pool is within a small grove of
Tamboti trees. The viewing decks overlook the water-hole. There is also
an African Boma where dinners are often served under the starry sky.
There are full bar facilities for the enjoyment of guests.
GUEST CHALETS Djuma Bush Lodge has 8
luxury thatched bedrooms, all individually situated in indigenous
gardens. The rooms have full air-conditioning, ceiling fans and mosquito
nets. The bathrooms have baths and showers.
FINE CUISINE Breakfast at Bush Lodge
is a full English buffet with all the favourites and a few surprises.
Lunches are quite simple with hot and cold dishes. There is an afternoon
tea with freshly baked dishes, but the real pièce de résistance is the
evening dinner which are served either in the gracious dining room or
under the A frican
sky in the Boma around a fire. Four exquisitely balanced courses are
carefully combined with fine wines for an occasion to remember for the
true gourmand.
WILDLIFE ACTIVITIES At Bush Lodge,
they take a broader view of game viewing and offer a safari experience
which emphasises the many aspects of the game reserve and do not single
mindedly head hunt the traditional Big Five. Guests will also learn
about the history of the reserve from experienced guides and trackers.
Bush walks are offered after breakfast, whilst two game drives are
conducted daily in the early morning and early evening. For a safari
with a difference you must try Bush Lodge.
